Truewerk is growing! We’re looking for an experienced marketplaces expert to help grow our presence in various online marketplaces. In this role, you’ll report directly to the VP of Marketing and provide support to our marketing and operations teams with the goal to profitably expand Truewerk’s brand presence to reach a new generation of trade professionals.

Account Management & Strategy

  • Achieve annual sales and ROAS goals for marketplaces

  • Bring a strategic and collaborative mindset on how to grow, scale, and optimize our marketplaces business

  • Manage, optimize, and create product listings on marketplaces

  • Maintain and improve positive customer relations through review management

  • Work cross-functionally with VP of Operations and Finance for EOM reporting and ad-hoc needs

  • Manage agency relationships for marketplaces

Advertising & Product Listing Management

  • SKU & UPC management: descriptions, new ASIN set up, activation/deactivation, copy and image optimization, etc.

  • Assist in SEO efforts including keyword research, audits, listing and store level optimization and competitive assessment

  • Maintain brand health and great customer experiences

  • Monitor and analyze ASIN performance, rankings, ratings, and reviews

  • Implement strategies to boost, and maintain product rankings

  • Manage advertising: Sponsored Products, Headline Search, Enhanced Brand Content

  • Analyze product sales performance to determine the best and worst performing SKUs

  • Ensure compliance and knowledge of marketplace policies and guidelines

  • Work closely with VP of Marketing to effectively integrate sales optimization strategies

Operations & Logistics

  • Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement

  • Ensure that performance notifications are handled in an appropriate and timely manner

  • Act as point person for forecasting and replenishment. Incorporate sales history data into projections and forecasting for replenishment. Communicate and coordinate replenishment activities operations team.

  • Manage inventory in support of expanding marketplaces business - maintain and update inventory availability/location and identify and resolve issues as they arise.

  • Maintain healthy inventory performance; through the monitoring and management of in-stock rates, excess inventory levels, sell-through, and stranded inventory resolution.

  • Manage and optimize storage costs, balancing opportunity, product availability and profitability

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing and operations teams for advanced analytical support and coordination of removal orders, SKU transition / rolling change management, and potential problem SKU’s

  • Manage and perform reporting and analysis of marketplace data. Assist in the collection and distribution of historical sales data at the channel and product category-level. Provide routine and ad-hoc reporting for marketplace channels and aid other teams/ departments as needed in alignment with KPIs

About You

Startup life isn’t for everyone. To be successful at a fast growing company you’ll need to possess the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work well in smaller teams, communicate effectively and be able to interface with customers in a professional and personable way.

  • 2-4 years experience managing Amazon Seller Central account(s), FBA/FBM, preferably for a consumer brand

  • Strong experience with Amazon Marketplace paid advertising: Sponsored Products, Headline Search Ads & AMS

  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience of Excel/Google Sheets and data manipulation

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or marketing is preferred, but not required. A familiarity or personal experience with trade work would be a bonus.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to monitor multiple projects simultaneously and overcome obstacles.
