We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic go-getter to join our team as a Marketing Specialist. This person will be a crucial part of our Marketing team and will help develop and manage our consumer marketing initiatives, as we strive to build a consumer-focused health brand.

 

The ideal individual will have a strong interest in executing marketing campaigns aimed at building awareness and driving qualified traffic to Healthgrades. Users with a background integrating on-site marketing with digital acquisition and engagement tactics will have a clear advantage. 

 

What you will do:

·        Digital Advertising Planning & Operations Support – will support in digital advertising campaigns by assisting in the management & operations of existing digital campaigns (social, display, SEM), optimizing campaigns based on key success criteria, managing creative assets, recommending targeting options and helping to analyze advertising results and distribute reporting to stakeholders.  Applicants should have experience managing digital media campaigns, in particular for paid Social Media using Facebook Ads Manager platform. 

·        Social Media Community Management – will also help manage social media editorial calendars, organic posts, reporting, community engagement and customer service responses and escalations of customer and PR issues as they arise on all social channels. Applicants with experience in social media community management and / or customer service roles is highly desired.

·        Writing/Editing – will draft copy for consumer marketing campaigns including advertising copy, social media and email copy, media alerts, internal communications, and web copy. Will also be responsible for reviewing and editing user-generated content on the Healthgrades website.

·        Consumer Communications / eMail Marketing – assist CRM functions by providing operational support for our automated and ad hoc marketing communication emails. Support may include launching, optimizing, and reporting functions related to our marketing automation tools and campaign executions.

·        Partnerships/Sponsorships – will spearhead partnership programs by identifying potential partners on a national and local level, reaching out to those partners or influencers, proposing integration points and managing ongoing partnership relationships. 

·        Influencer Engagement – will assist in the execution and management of content & social influencer programs, including providing operational support to our Sr. Social Media Manager and other Marketing team members. 

·        Special Events Management – may help coordinate local market events as needed, working with vendors, media, spokespeople and internal stakeholders. Will also work to expand awareness of consumer marketing campaigns with our own employees. 

 

What you will bring:

·        Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, public relations or related field.

·        2-5 years of related professional experience.

·        Experience in digital marketing strategy and implementation, specifically with social media.

·        Experience building and managing media campaigns using Google and other ad network providers (including DMP/DSP providers, Adwords, and Facebook)

·        Experience using Digital Analytics to measure site engagement, audiences, and intelligence. Specifically, experience with Adobe Analytics (Site Catalyst suite) or Google Analytics at an intermediate skill level

·        Understanding of content management systems and technologies.

·        Excellent writing and editing skills.

·        Strong oral communication skills.

·        Good decision-making abilities.

·        Flexible and adaptive.

·        Strong attention to detail.
