About this Role

Apostrophe is seeking a Marketing Manager with a solid understanding of essential marketing principles to join our team.

You’ll be reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications to coordinate and execute a variety of marketing and communications projects among departments and team members. This will include external marketing efforts for B2B demand generation, client engagement and success, and positive member experience, as well as internal communications for the organization.

The right person for this tactical role has a mastery of project management and will bring an established skill set of content management best practices to the table. You speak logistics fluently and already know how to use — or find — the right software to automate or simplify internal processes.

You will work collaboratively with internal departments and stakeholders, as well as contract copywriters and graphic designers, to keep the marketing/communications department and its initiatives humming. Agency experience, especially in traffic management, would be ideal for this role.

Who You Are

  • Structured thinker: Expert in project and content management.
  • Organized: An ace at juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Responsive and proactive: You act quickly on requests and identify situations where you can solve needs or issues before they surface.
  • Driven: Able to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Happy to help: Eager to solve problems with the right information and resources.
  • Self-starter: Needs minimal supervision to get the job done, whether onsite or remote.
  • Eager to understand: Effective communicator, both in person and “on paper”

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee project management for all marketing initiatives, working with multiple stakeholders to create detailed schedules and manage the timing, prioritization, and execution of tasks and deliverables at each stage of the project
  • Manage content across multiple systems, ensuring all marketing and communications materials and graphics are up to date with accurate information and messaging (using Google drive, Dropbox, WordPress, etc.)
  • Maintain marketing calendars to track and prioritize cross-functional projects
  • Intake and process incoming marketing services requests from organization
  • Keep internal brand assets up-to-date
  • Manage swag inventory and related vendor relationships, including ordering, storage and distribution to staff
  • Support internal, org-wide communications
  • Perform administrative duties for marketing operations, including reviewing and processing invoices, maintaining internal documentation for processes, keeping administrative databases up to date and so on.
  • Provide digital marketing support to Demand Generation initiatives, which may include setting up and/or maintaining digital ads; coordinating graphic design and copywriting for end-to-end content creation; tracking analytics for web, social media and/or digital ads

Preferred Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related discipline
  • 5-7+ years’ experience in a marketing management role
  • Expertise in content management across multiple systems
  • Advanced knowledge of project management tools and best practices
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics and web analysis tools
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
