How you'll make an impact

As the coordinator of this cross-functional team, you'll be responsible for providing administrative support to the Americas Marketing team. Your expertise and steady nature will help us achieve our mission of growing the Xero brand within the U.S. and Canada, while building marketing processes to amplify our brand activations.

Providing support and real time data to the Marketing team will allow us to focus on our successes, while helping to uncover new and better ways to engage with our target audience. In addition, this role will play an integral part in the execution of our regional sales and marketing strategy, driving new partner activations across our growing communities.

• Professionally maintain sales and marketing process library
• Strong visibility into marketing success metrics
• Regular reviews of marketing activities with next-step recommendations

What you'll do

• Coordinate departmental and cross-functional scheduling.
• Maintain multiple budgets and coordinate contractor SOWs and POs.
• Compile weekly/monthly statistics & reporting.
• Plan meetings and maintain meeting minutes.
• Respond to inquiries ('cases') from partners and customers.
• Advise and assist key personnel focussed on process automation.
• Maintain administrative workflow by studying methods; implementing cost reductions and developing reporting procedures.
• Provide general administration support to the Marketing team and approved third party contractors.

What you'll bring with you
Critical competencies

• Computer literacy and software knowledge, including GSuite and ideally AEM, Salesforce and/or Marketo
• Process driven
• Out of the box thinker, always ready to bring new ideas to test
• Passion and desire to make a difference and contribute as a member of a dynamic team
• Connection to Xero core values – plus a great sense of humor

Experience

• 2-4 years of proven experience as an departmental coordinator, administrative assistant
• Understanding of departmental budgeting and reporting
• Detail oriented, work with a high degree of accuracy and follow up
• Proven success in raising the visibility and awareness of solutions in relevant communities and building strategic relationships
• Business development/customer relationship experience
• Excellent customer service and people skills
• Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate initiative, multitask and meet changing deadlines
