Job Summary

The Marketo Administrator will initiate and lead the development of our marketing automation platform.  This person will be responsible for the strategic direction and day to day administration of our environment.  The ideal candidate will have existing experience with marketing automation platforms, analytics and reporting, campaign marketing and database management.

 

  • Manage the administration and expanded use of Marketo as the marketing automation platform
  • Ensure successful configuration, implementation and maintenance of all marketing programs
  • Work with the campaign strategy team to define programs, target audiences, test, launch and measure activities within the marketing automation tool
  • Build and deploy programs to develop and enrich the size and integrity of our prospect database
  • Develop and execute new ideas for email nurturing campaigns, A/B testing to improve email marketing performance
  • Ensure database and engagement compliance through GDPR and other external requirements
  • Enable and educate the marketing team on best practices to maximize ROI ensuring clean data collection and on time execution
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and sales to develop and execute ABM initiatives
  • Partner with Salesforce Administrator to implement integrations with our CRM and other automation tools
  • Communicate projects/initiatives and results of marketing campaigns to sales, marketing and leadership teams
  • Track and measure marketing campaign ROI, attribution and sales effectiveness

Job Requirements

  • Excellent organization and project management skills
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate throughout all levels of the organization including the user community and executive management
  • Basic experience with HTML, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript
  • Understanding of B2B lead funnel and strategies to optimize conversions
  • 5+ years’ experience as Marketo administrator – certification preferred
  • Proven ability to design and implement a Marketing Automation environment
  • Experience working in a fast paced, cloud services business
  • Working understanding of Salesforce system is preferred

Education

Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
