Primary Objectives

The Junior Marketing Associate at StarRez, you will assist in the development of content for our sales and marketing assets, including sales presentations, client-facing communications and internal sales training and enablement materials. You will assist with regional and national trade show and customer events.  You will partner closely with the VP of Sales and head of Marketing to assist with material production, competitor research, project coordination, event management, market research, and asset management.

Major Accountabilities

  • Sales Enablement: Develop and maintain marketing materials, presentations and training to support new business development and account management. Research prospects and customers and update intelligence in Salesforce CRM.
  • Content Development: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather source content. Assist with the development of compelling product messaging that differentiates our solutions in the market.  Develop a cadence for continuously improving core marketing assets.
  • Project Execution & Coordination: Support the regional and national events by coordination of on site materials – sales brochures, display set up, technology, and arrange for facility needs.
  • Operations: Serve as the primary curator of sales and marketing collateral, including administration and management of SharePoint structure and assets – in collaboration with Marketing and Sales Management.  Manage team logistics (training/events, scheduling, updates, reporting, project tracking, etc.).

  • Additional Duties and Projects as assigned and required by business need
  • Travel as needed (less than 15% of the time)

Skills

  • Proficient User of Microsoft Office Suite and support systems including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under pressure and with time constraints in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
  • Effective verbal, written, and visual presentation skills
  • Confident and professional conversation/facilitation skills over phone and video
  • Strong judgment, issues management, and problem analysis techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Firm understanding of the use of technology and data to support product decision making.
  • Ability to multi-task multiple priorities with superior time management skills

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • Experience in a Software as a Service marketing environment
  • Strong core skills in writing for marketing and presentation development
  • Recent experience producing marketing copy, materials and presentations
  • Particularly adept at quickly grasping and translating complex capabilities into crisp and compelling benefits/value and messaging
  • Seeks to build a career with an innovative technology organization
  • Outstanding work ethic and self-motivated
  • Flexibility to work with customers in different time zones (including internationally)
  • Able to execute and focus in a fast-paced work environment

Desirable

  • Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated relevant professional experience
  • Higher education housing experience a benefit, but not required
  • Experience in managing marketing campaigns a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite of products
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, as well as, other marketing automation platforms and tools.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Tools – Photoshop, InDesign,
  • Working knowledge WordPress

Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A.

Work Environment: This job is based in the Denver, CO, USA office. Travel with reasonable notice may be required.

Physical Demands: Sedentary work in a professional office environment. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move  objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Requires extensive use of computers, telephones, and other technology and electronic devices.
