This position will be on the Growth team reporting to the Director of Marketing. It’s function is to continuously test web pages, email campaigns, and calls-to-action to promise, and then deliver, targeted value to users. 

You Will:

  • Increase conversion of website traffic into free memberships
  • Design, implement, and optimize all marketing, and transactional email campaigns company-wide 
  • Suggest and implement A/B and multivariate test to optimize conversion pages and calls-to-action.
  • Improve conversion rates for our publishing business
  • Write marketing copy that effectively conveys our value proposition to users and potential users
  • Track all tests and efforts and present  statistically-sound data-backed results including ideas for future iterations

You Need:

  • Understanding of statistics and ability to support hypotheses with data
  • Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with data tracking tools like Amplitude, MixPanel, or Tableau
  • A strong understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing strategies, such as SEO/social media, etc.) and market research methods
  • Experience running email campaigns, we use BlueShift and Mandrill/MailChimp
  • Solid computer skills -- In addition to strong  MS Excel abilities, you will be using the following software extensively: Google Analytics, Amplitude, Optimizely, Unbounce, Leadpages, and possibly  other related marketing tools
  • Strong copywriting skills 
  • A strong work ethic (but you also know how to have fun)
  • Ability to coordinate across teams, specifically with the marketing and product teams, to implement new projects. 

Education & Experience 

Bachelor’s degree and two to four years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Location

We are located in the trendy RiNO area just east of downtown Denver. We are centrally located to lots of fun bars and restaurants. We have a modern, open concept warehouse office when you do want to venture in.
