Growth Hacker/Manager
This position will be on the Growth team reporting to the Director of Marketing. It’s function is to continuously test web pages, email campaigns, and calls-to-action to promise, and then deliver, targeted value to users.
You Will:
- Increase conversion of website traffic into free memberships
- Design, implement, and optimize all marketing, and transactional email campaigns company-wide
- Suggest and implement A/B and multivariate test to optimize conversion pages and calls-to-action.
- Improve conversion rates for our publishing business
- Write marketing copy that effectively conveys our value proposition to users and potential users
- Track all tests and efforts and present statistically-sound data-backed results including ideas for future iterations
You Need:
- Understanding of statistics and ability to support hypotheses with data
- Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with data tracking tools like Amplitude, MixPanel, or Tableau
- A strong understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing strategies, such as SEO/social media, etc.) and market research methods
- Experience running email campaigns, we use BlueShift and Mandrill/MailChimp
- Solid computer skills -- In addition to strong MS Excel abilities, you will be using the following software extensively: Google Analytics, Amplitude, Optimizely, Unbounce, Leadpages, and possibly other related marketing tools
- Strong copywriting skills
- A strong work ethic (but you also know how to have fun)
- Ability to coordinate across teams, specifically with the marketing and product teams, to implement new projects.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree and two to four years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
