The Opportunity:

We’re seeking a candidate to fulfill the Field Marketing Coordinator role on our fast-paced marketing team. The position includes event planning, marketing, logistics, and execution for year-round global field events small and large alongside our Manager of Field Marketing.

Roles and Responsibilities

This position offers the right marketing professional the opportunity to gain valuable experience in events and field marketing, as well as the chance to work in a scaling technology company with products that are changing how top organizations work and learn. The successful candidate will have high attention to detail, a strong desire to learn, can adapt to constantly-changing situations, and a willingness to accept ownership of a diverse range of duties including but not limited to:

  • Event planning, logistics, and execution, including booking of events, management of event vendors, coordination with Mersive internal stakeholders and partners, travel, etc.
  • Manage events calendar and budgets.
  • Own and lead the above efforts for Mersive’ Engage roadshow event series and small, regional field/channel events
  • Support the above efforts for Mersive’s large tradeshows led by Mersive’s Field Marketing Manager.
  • Coordinate with other marketing stakeholders (product, digital, creative) to market/promote events, including email creation, audience segmentation, print and swag orders, etc.
  • Coordinate the execution of all Mersive webinars.
  • Work hand-in-hand with all members of the sales team, including coordinating events for/with our sales reps in the field across the globe.
  • Work seamlessly with Mersive’s two-tier AV/IT channel partners to execute channel events and partner co-marketing efforts for events.
  • Work directly with Mersive executives to execute internal company events on occasion.
  • Working cross-functionally with other teams at Mersive to complete value-add initiatives as they arise, including sales support, product marketing/management projects, and more.
  • Develop and maintain expert level knowledge of the full Mersive product suite.
  • Must be able to travel approximately 6-8 weeks per year to attend marketing events.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, finance, or other related area of study.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in event planning/logistics/management. 
  • Must have high attention to detail and good work ethic.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and balance the needs of various stakeholders.
  • Experience with channel and/or product marketing a plus.
  • High integrity and intellectual honesty.
  • Fast-learner who can learn the product suite quickly and become self-directed in a short time.
  • High self-awareness and respect for others.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and think critically.
  • Results-oriented problem-solving skills.
  • Must pass a thorough security background check.

Desired Qualifications/Experience

  • Experience with large and/or international events.
  • Experience working for a software/technology company.
  • Experience with Hubspot and SalesForce CRM
