We are looking for an Event Marketing Manager to join the Growth Engagement arm of the EverCommerce team, which has extensive expertise in marketing, business operations, growth strategies, and management, that we provide as a shared service to subsidiaries to drive continued efficient growth and success. 

This role will play a key part in developing and executing strategic event, tradeshow and Marketing campaign planning for several subsidiary companies and serving as a key point of contact for the subsidiary teams, contracted event vendors, industry partners and the EverCommerce management team.

What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you will be accountable for the strategic planning and execution of several events and tradeshows per year, ranging in scope, size, scale, budget, location and industry. Your objective is to help organize, manage and grow the EverCommerce and subsidiary event and event marketing strategies. You’ll work to build a brand presence for both EverCommerce and our portfolio of subsidiaries by negotiating and proposing shared sponsorships and booth layouts to ultimately drive new customer acquisition and partnerships for our companies.  You’ll work closely and collaboratively with the internal Growth Engagement team, as well as the subsidiary leadership teams to understand the needs and goals of each event and how to best manage the marketing components they need to be successful. You’ll be responsible for making sure all events are successful and seamlessly executed.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Establish, organize and maintain the annual event calendar for all EverCommerce subsidiaries 
  • Collaborate with the CMO, VP of Business Development, and the Marketing Program Directors to determine the best industry events and tradeshows for EverCommerce subsidiaries to attend on an annual and quarterly basis
  • Research and identify new event growth opportunities where you think EverCommerce subsidiaries could attend to drive new customer acquisition or partnerships
  • Identify and negotiate various sponsorship opportunities with industry partners and at large industry shows to help EverCommerce with shared event cost savings while building brand awareness 
  • Manage the marketing strategies around each event to help drive attendance, generate product demos, and follow-up with perspective customers who engaged with a given subsidiary company during an event 
  • Collaborate with the various subsidiaries and members of the Growth Engagement team to create all necessary event marketing assets including: event email templates and content, company overview and sales sheets, landing page creation, promotional campaign creation, printed advertisements, booth material design and social media execution  
  • Track and report on the success of your pre, during, and post marketing strategies with the ability to align specific marketing tactics to measured outcomes 
  • Track and report on the budgeted vs actual spend for each event, number of leads created and total cost per lead, per show 
  • Ability to design a tradeshow booth layout, manage all show logistics, order necessary furniture and items from show vendors, manage the to-and-from show shipping logistics and sometimes travel on-site to set up and strike the booth 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in marketing, business management, or related field
  • 3+ years of event/tradeshow planning or, field marketing experience 
  • Interest in the booming technology and SaaS space 
  • Confident in planning and executing several events per calendar year and working within the limitations of a set budget 
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills 
  • Experience with hotel and vendor contract negotiation 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects at the same time  
  • Strong communicator, strategic planner and problem solver
