Employee Communications Manager
As an integral member of the Corporate Communications team, the Employee Communications Manager will be responsible for operationalizing our communications efforts across the organization. You will develop a plan and execute an internal communications program that will reinforce our culture, inform and inspire our team and raise awareness of critical news, strategic goals and our Mission, Vision, Values. This position reports to the Director of Corporate Communications. In this role, you will write and tailor content for a variety of audiences, using multiple channels and mediums. You must demonstrate a deep understanding of corporate messaging, positioning and stakeholder needs. You will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally as this role is highly collaborative and build strong relationships with executives. You will be a strategic communications partner to teams leading diversity, equity and inclusion, employee benefits, employee engagement and employee wellness and culture initiatives. - Lead all internal communications projects and campaigns, collaborating closely with key stakeholders to understand goals, offering creative thinking and strategy consulting, proactively identifying communications opportunities and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Develop and implement creative and engaging integrated communications campaigns that build awareness, inform and engage employees, including the development of comprehensive communications plans and editorial calendars for internal initiatives, awareness and change campaigns and other special projects.
- Provide support and leadership in the planning, design, development and management of high impact, and at times sensitive, communication projects and initiatives.
- Advise leadership on internal communication issues and opportunities and make recommendations regarding current internal communication channels and evaluate new channels, as appropriate.
- Plan and coordinate employee events such as global all-employee meetings with an eye toward events that creatively tell a story, celebrate employee achievement and inspire.
- Manage all internal communications platforms, including writing and editing content for the intranet, email communications, social media posts, video and presentation scripts and other channels where needed.
- Review and analyze data to measure effectiveness, impact and engagement of communications programs and special projects and use results to strengthen the planning and execution of future programs.
Knowledge and Skills:

What You'll Need:
- 4-5years of Employee/ Internal Communications experience
- Demonstrated experience building trusted partnership with peers in the HR, Corporate Marketing and Legal teams, as well as executive leadership
- Issues and crisis preparedness experience
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Outstanding oral communication skills – including comfortability with presenting to leadership
- A growth mindset – a willingness to experiment, iterate and improve
- Confidence in your own judgement and an ability to exercise strategic thinking
- Embrace our culture and be a champion within the organization
- Confidentiality skills – you will be handling confidential and sensitive information
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- SaaS or healthcare-specific experience
- Change management leadership
- Executive communications experience
- Experience partnering with agency partners and freelancers
- Subject matter expertise in tools and technologies such as Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Stream, SharePoint and Confluence
- Agile Marketing certification / working in an Agile Marketing environment
Estimated salary range for this position: $79,625-$91,000 The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX's total compensation package for employees.
