The Director of SEO/SEM is the managing director of the Marketing Services department, including the SEO and SEM teams. They are responsible for the profitability of the department and maintains direct responsibility for all Marketing Services staff. The Director of SEO/SEM oversees overall campaigns and resolves functional conflicts. The Director of Marketing Services is the person to whom the CEO and other Department Directors look to for support, guidance, and counsel on marketing campaign initiatives.

This is a full time, salaried position. The Director of SEO/SEM reports to the CEO and works closely with the Engineering Director and Director of Accounts.

**Please note, the Marketing Services department is responsible for the marketing campaigns of our clients, not the marketing of our brand/company**

Experience Requirements

  • Qualified candidates will be self-motivated and have a positive attitude. You must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • 5+ years minimum agency experience, including technical and client facing experience
  • Experience with dental/health specific marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher and applicable certifications
  • 3+ years experience managing a team
  • In-depth experience and knowledge of running local SEO and PPC campaigns on behalf of clients

Responsibilities

  • Hiring and managing Marketing Services team, including assignment of staff duties and goals, check-ins with team members, and monitoring team progress
  • Overall growth and development of Marketing Services department, including meeting profit goals and growth for Marketing Services department, projecting staff needs, and setting and tracking department KPIs
  • Maintaining a high level of performance by the Marketing Services team
  • Maintaining relationships with a small group of clients to ensure proper feedback loop is open
  • Ensure the timely development and execution of plans, campaigns, and projects to assure earnings, growth, and profit goals are achieved
  • Plan, develop, and defend recommendations, work goals, measurements, and training requirements necessary to provide both quality and profitable service to clients
  • Evaluate software and tools needed by the team to ensure campaign growth and stability
  • Conveys the vision and values of the company to the department
  • Ensures that the staff works in conformance with company policies and procedures
  • Drive R&D of marketing services strategy for SEO, PPC, FB campaigns
  • Identifies and plans corrective action for struggling campaigns
