Why You Matter
The Director of Product Marketing is responsible for determining the go-to-market strategy for all Red Canary solutions. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise and success with positioning, messaging, and content development, and will offer recommendations on promotions as well as pricing and packaging pre-launch, owning messaging and the marketing lifecycle post launch.
Who You Are
You are a senior product marketer who lives and breathes information security services and technology. You will:
- Generate the product marketing plan and create core product content across all marketing channels (web, blogs, PR/AR, partners) as well as thought leadership.
- Create an effective selling strategy for direct sales and partner sales; create the sales enablement plan and develop the associated sales tools including sales presentations and datasheets, competitive analysis, battle cards, whitepapers and opinion papers, TCO/ROI tools, and customer case studies.
- Demonstrate deep customer knowledge and be the voice of the customer and voice of the buyer to functional teams. Understand market dynamics of a fast changing market including knowledge of competitive forces and impact on marketing objectives and strategies. Identify ongoing insights that help optimize ongoing marketing programs.
- Work with product management as the program manager for product launches including coordinating customer facing messaging, internal sales and partner training and education, and associated go-to-market programs to drive product adoption.
- Maintain relationships with key industry influencers including analysts, press contacts, key social influencers, and partners.
- Develop content for customer-facing materials such as data sheets, customer emails, training, videos, webinars, knowledge articles, blog posts, and case studies to clearly communicate success stories and best practices.
- Ensures launch readiness internally and externally for product releases including contribution to the go-to-market strategy, plan, and associated deliverables.
- Devise a sustainable internal product training program, content plan, inclusion in release cycle, execution, and delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise B2B product marketing.
- 3+ years in information technology; managed detection and response, endpoint detection and response, and/or security operations experience is a plus
- Skilled at balancing technical terminology with business acumen.
- Experience working closely with marketing communications, demand gen marketing, product management, and field sales teams to achieve shared revenue goals.
- Demonstrated customer knowledge and solid execution of competitive marketing strategies.
