Evolve Vacation Rental Network is a Denver-based company that is redefining vacation rental management and we’re looking for a smart, passionate, and entrepreneurial individual to join us. Our team is on a mission to make vacation rental easy for everyone. We provide homeowners with the easiest and most effective way to generate rental income, while offering travelers the world's best booking experience.

We're conveniently located in Downtown Denver offering easy access to the Cherry Creek Bike Path, RTD Light Rail, as well as all the great restaurants, cafes, and coffee shops the city has to offer! Oh, and we also like to have a lot of fun.

The Position

Evolve is growing fast, which means we’re producing an enormous amount of content to let homeowners and travelers know what we do, how we do it, and why we’re better at it than anyone in the industry. We’re looking for a Director of Marketing Communications who can tackle that job with thoughtfulness, passion, and impeccable grammar.

You’ll be leading a talented team responsible for creating content ranging from blog posts and sales emails to case studies and press releases. If you’re interested in finding the best ways to grow and engage various audiences, you’ll find tons of opportunities in this position to hone those skills and test new ideas.

This role is based at Evolve's headquarters in Denver and reports to the SVP of Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Establish internal and external communications strategies to reach multiple audiences
• Ensure the consistency and quality of Evolve's brand voice across platforms and mediums
• Develop effective campaigns for launching new products to internal and external audiences
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to uncover ongoing content and communication needs
• Oversee the development and implementation of the content calendar
• Build and track benchmarks for measuring success and ROI
• Provide editorial oversight of all content
• Manage and mentor the content marketing and social media teams

Experience

• 8+ years of marketing experience with consumer-facing products or services
• Travel industry experience is a plus

• Proven track record for setting and achieving brand growth goals
• Strong background in direct response and content marketing
• Experience leading and developing teams
• Jaw-dropping writing and editing skills
• Experience creating and optimizing communications strategies for internal and external audiences
• You are physically incapable of pronouncing the words “that’s not my job”
• Ability to take constructive feedback and a willingness to learn
• Ability to be proactive, multitask, collaborate, and prioritize in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Highly orginized and detail oriented
• You caught the spelling error in the previous bullet point
• Start-up worthy: maniacal work ethic, run-through-brick-walls mentality, thrive in a fluid environment with rapidly changing priorities

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
