Revenue River is looking for another Digital Marketing Strategist. We’re looking for ambitious, driven individuals with relevant digital marketing experience. Experience and certifications working with HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, and Teamwork are valued. A prospective team member should have applicable experience executing digital marketing strategies, have a good understanding of who we are, and what agency life requires.

As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you will own the buyer’s journey and ensure we are building out and properly executing funnels and strategies in support of the buyer’s journey and overall campaign goals. You will perform client and industry research to help craft content and promotion campaign strategies that include blog posts, premium and pillar content, email campaigns (drip, nurturing, automated, and promotional), database segmentation, social media activity, and conversion point optimization. You will be responsible for executing digital marketing elements in addition to training and coaching industry experts and client thought leaders on the execution of those strategies, ensuring that your campaigns maintain a professional, consistent brand presence to external audiences through media placement and publishing to owned media channels, ensuring that prospects and customers understand your client’s mission and their brand story.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish client brand elements that capture the client’s identity in a way that makes it easy to monitor and maintain brand consistency through marketing execution.
  • Develop persona profiles and corresponding buyer journeys to create highly customized and targeted content and promotion strategies.
  • Create compelling content strategies that add value through education and stories externally while also closely connecting to and following established SEO strategy and best practices.
  • Work closely with senior leaders, marketing teammates, and other departments to create and implement effective promotion strategies that articulate your client’s core value propositions properly and consistently to the right audience through the right medium.
  • Execute strategic, segmented email marketing campaigns for clients.
  • Build and execute a database segmentation strategy and set up the marketing automation system to appropriately filter, segment, tag, and enroll contacts into the appropriate lists, campaigns, and sequences.
  • Integrate and connect marketing tools and technologies into the campaign tech stack so they are all working together and communicating properly.
  • Propose and implement new ways of creating and distributing content that expands our agency’s reach and causes.

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • 2-5 years of applicable marketing experience
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adept at juggling many clients at once, working cross-functionally, while never losing sight of the core message and goal behind your work
  • Industry certifications that demonstrate core understanding of the tactics needed for the job
  • A deep understanding of proper messaging and best practices, along with a creative spark to develop innovative content that stands out from the noise
  • Technical abilities with experience integrating various tech stacks a plus
