What You Will Do:

As our Content Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall content strategy for social media marketing and lead generation campaigns. You’ll be an integral piece of the marketing team and manage the creation of high-quality and engaging content. The day-to-day job responsibilities will include collaborating to create a results-driven content and social strategy, maintaining an editorial calendar, writing content, plus managing internal and external resources on the execution of content, ensuring it’s delivery, and reporting on its results.

Responsibilities and Duties

This position is for an ambitious individual who enjoys a fast-paced, self-motivated environment. Success in this role requires a thorough understanding of content development, content distribution, and social media best practices. We are a growth stage company that requires excellent execution, decision-making, and accountability.

  • Write, edit, and format copy, including case studies, blogs, social and other content.
  • Deliver creative, effective storytelling that drives targeted traffic to the website and gets people talking about the Health Scholars brand.
  • Interview our team, partners, customers, and industry experts to create great content and build demand.
  • Work with the Demand Manager, Product Team, and Customer Success to create and implement strategies for content distribution across multiple channels.
  • Collaborate with the product, sales, and customer success team members to generate demand in a scalable way.
  • Update and refine content on our website using SEO best practices.
  • Lead Social Media Content Strategy for all Channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and eventually Instagram).
  • Stay current on social media developments and provide recommendations and expertise to the entire company.
  • Oversee/execute daily posting and community care across social channels.
  • Measure and optimize the impact of your content.
  • Maintain editorial calendars.
  • Manage internal teams and external content resources to ensure we are on scope and on-time for asset development.
  • Light design using tools like Canva, Stencil, PicMonkey.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 in content and/or social media development
  • Experience creating blog posts, email marketing copy, and other types of compelling content for B2B brand(s).
  • Marketing/Advertising agency experience is ideal.
  • Strong marketing research and interview skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-leading CMS and project management tools (such as Hubspot, Hootsuite, Asana, Airtable).
  • An editorial mindset that makes you constantly seek to understand what your audiences consume and learn how to create it.
  • Strong attention to detail and project management abilities.
  • Experience with multimedia content is a plus.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills. Samples will be required.
  • Proactive and resourceful work style. You must be able to deliver work product independently and using outside resources.
  • Experience and/or passion for healthcare and technology is a plus
