The CMO will help lead the company to a successful IPO in the next 12-18 months, and will be a key senior executive driving a long-term successful public company.

Job Description

As the most senior marketing executive at Conga, our CMO will lead the following functions for the Company globally:

  • Lead a high performing, highly collaborative marketing team and inspire leaders across all departmental disciplines including Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Corporate Marketing
  • Identify scaled SaaS marketing best practices to land key messages and drive adoption of Conga’s solutions
  • Lead branding efforts for all solutions and services, across all forms of media
  • Drive and implement all marketing activities to ensure on-brand positioning and awareness across all aspects of the marketing mix, inbound and outbound
  • Lead and drive marketing communication, ensure clear and powerful messages about the products, brand, and value proposition to each market segment
  • Manage all aspects of marketing planning, budgeting, metrics and reporting
  • Utilize critical market and competitive research to segment and define target markets, refine and improve the product value proposition, and implement the best market-penetration strategy
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with industry thought leaders, marketing associations and advisors

Qualifications

 

  • BS in Marketing, Communications or General Business preferred, MBA highly desirable
  • 10+ years’ experience in SaaS B2B marketing, specifically in a senior leadership role with responsibility for dramatically increasing customer acquisition for a company with $150M+ in recurring revenue
  • Strategic thinker with proven experience scaling a team that has executed world class SaaS marketing best practicesDeep experience in driving SaaS marketing metrics and results
  • Experience with IPO-readiness strongly preferred
  • Clear and effective communication skills and experience in a collaborative, transparent and hands-on environment
  • Proven track record in fast-paced, high growth SaaS environments
