We are seeking a highly motivated team player, with a passion for marketing, communications and integrated programs to drive demand. The Channel Marketing Specialist is a high impact member of the Channel Marketing team that helps recruit new Managed Service Providers (MSPs), OEM and Reseller Partners. This position plays a key role in supporting recruitment campaigns including project management, execution, tracking and reporting. Experience with partner acquisition (lead generation) tactics should include email, webinar and events. Knowledge or background in paid media and content creation is a plus. This is a great opportunity for someone with a proven record of accomplishment in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a flexible team player, who is committed to quality results, thinks strategically and who can operate independently, as well as within a team. This person should have a strong working knowledge of B2B marketing, demand generation, new partner acquisition and channel marketing.

 

Specific Objectives and Responsibilities:

 

  • Work with Channel Marketing managers to support paid media vendor initiatives and programs (e.g. project management, ad placements, lead generation programs, content syndication)
  • Assist in the development of channel partner recruitment campaigns (email, social, webinars, etc.)
  • Work closely with Channel Marketing managers, sales and vendors to support channel partner and industry event management, planning and execution.
  • Assist in the development of engagement programs for Webroot Prospects that drive mindshare, build pipeline and grow revenue.
  • Work with Channel Marketing Managers to create and maintain Salesforce Campaign ID spreadsheet for all recruitment campaigns needed.
  • Help manage a listing of all Channel Marketing ‘ad creative and messaging’ use used for paid media, publications, social campaigns etc.
  • Build and manage process for list uploads from events and webinars working with Marketing Operations for upload to Salesforce including booth scans, event registration lists, webinar registration and attendee lists.
  • Own and maintain swag inventory, ordering, research etc. for all Partner Marketing events and activities.
  • Manage and administer miscellaneous contracts and work frequently within applications such as SmartSheet, Basecamp, Wrike, and other marketing management tools.

This function will work with other members of the marketing team in support of Channel Marketing efforts:

 

  • Ensure channel marketing content is current in all locations by using audits, updates and/or removing/un-publishing obsolete assets as necessary.
  • Work with Marketing Operations to maintain all channel marketing campaigns in Salesforce and are current including Salesforce templates.
  • Work with Marketing Communications in support of channel recruitment campaigns.
  • Ensure Social and Community groups have the necessary content as requested.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

Skills & Experience:

 

  • BA/BS degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience developing recruitment/demand generation and enablement campaigns.
  • Experience developing recruitment/demand generation and enablement campaigns.
  • Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements.
  • 2-4 years of related B2B tech marketing experience, 2-4 years of experience in channel or partner marketing.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Experience working with Managed Service Providers, OEM, and VAR channel partners.
  • Experience with channel programs and partner portals.
  • Experience managing content creation.
  • Exceptional writing skills and communication skills.
  • Strong project, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Up to 10-20% travel as necessary.
