Job Summary
Brand & Demand Marketing Operations Manager
This role will report directly to the VP of Brand & Demand Marketing, working with the VP to drive marketing initiatives and programs across all NetApp business units and geographies. You will be involved in a broad range of activities, from strategic to tactical and will be responsible for creating the operating system for the VP staff group and driving the cross-functional collaboration process.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Planning, organizing, and prioritizing multiple assignments and projects.
Bringing people together to work effectively towards shared goals, monitoring progress and orchestrating actions required to achieve success.
Driving alignment on plans and execution with other marketing functions, sales teams and business units.
Leading specific projects that require cross-functional collaboration, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to proactively develop strategy and execute initiatives.
Ensuring the Brand & Demand marketing team are well prepared prior to leadership meetings and executive reviews.
Ensuring the VP Brand & Demand Marketing and the staff group are briefed and prepared to work with stakeholders across the organization, with partners, agencies and customers.
Managing team communications and driving speed and quality of information and communication flows across the organization.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
7+ years marketing experience driving marketing activities and outcomes.
Superior level of project management skills, including the ability to prepare written plans and schedules, identify objectives, coordinate and direct project teams and manage budgets.
Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication modes for internal and external personnel at all levels.
Work independently and in a team environment in order to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames.
Ability to negotiate on behalf of function to come to agreement on cross-functional initiatives.
Experience in data management, storage and software.
Experience with cloud technologies and as a service offerings a plus
Education
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor of Arts of Science Degree is required, or equivalent experience.
MBA preferred.
Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, extremely complex technical projects.
