THE POSITION

Pocket Outdoor Media is looking for a talented individual to join our growing Ad Operations team full-time in our Boulder, CO, headquarters. The Ad Specialist/Trafficker is an integral member of the team who owns all ad trafficking duties for our direct sold digital campaigns across our digital advertising properties, including but not limited to display, email, podcast, and video. The ideal candidate will leverage their existing knowledge of Google Ad Manager (GAM) and other ad platforms to execute partner campaigns flawlessly, optimize performance and yield in an effort to achieve maximum revenue. The Ad Specialist/Trafficker reports to the Digital Director, Strategy + Operations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • This individual is hands on in Pocket’s Google Ad Manager 360 (DFP)network account and responsible for all trafficking and optimization tactics across the various publishing groups
  • Continuously monitor and ensure campaign delivery requirements and KPIs are met for all direct sold campaigns
  • Create, document and maintain ad trafficking workflow, procedures and processes including the various ad creative specs
  • QA and monitor all ad creative for performance and best practices adherence
  • Help ensure compliance with partner contracts, privacy initiatives such as GDPR and CCPA, and industry best practices
  • Work closely with the Campaign Managers on optimization strategies of all digital revenue channels
  • Generate and establish regular reporting frequencies on revenue, delivery, and performance to share with Director of AdOps

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-4 years minimum experience of Google Ad Manager, specifically trafficking capabilities
    • video trafficking experience ideal but not required
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and the Google Marketing Platform 
  • Familiarity with other product platforms like Hubspot, Mailchimp, Spotify, Soundcloud, Megaphone, JW Player, Brightcove, Powerinbox, Liveintent, etc.
  • Strong command of Google Business Suite programs
  • Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects. Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last-minute changes
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships 
  • Familiarity with programmatic revenue channels such as Adx, Header Bidding, Google Open Bidding and Amazon UAM and TAM

SKILLS

  • Must be a self-starter, with strong planning, time-management and communication skills, plus the ability to work with minimal direction
  • Ability to uncover and resolve detailed issues, escalating to Director when appropriate and communicating resolutions to broader team
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills necessary 
  • Strong written and verbal communication ability
