Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH Wireless is seeking a mid-level transactional attorney who is passionate about our business and interested in working closely with our business teams. This role will support DISH's operations across multiple business units with an emphasis on marketing and will have the ability to directly contribute to DISH's future growth.
We are seeking a Corporate Counsel to provide legal support for DISH's Retail Wireless Marketing group, which has a goal of marketing and promoting DISH's Boost Mobile, Republic Wireless, Project Genesis and other DISH wireless brands. DISH Retail Wireless Marketing group is responsible for, among other things, establishing, developing, and optimizing relationships with a wide range of parties, including creative agencies, device platforms, internet service providers, software and technology service providers, sports organizations, and talent, including celebrities, athletes and other influencers. Legal support for the Marketing group involves, among other things, drafting and negotiating Marketing Service Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Consulting Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Trademark License Agreements, Social Media Influencer Agreements (such as NIL deals with student athletes, professional athletes, musicians, etc.), Talent Agreements (directly with talent and with talent management agencies), Production Agreements, Event Agreements and Sponsorship Agreements, in addition to generally advising the business team on related legal issues that come up from day to day. The work in this group is fast-paced and multi-faceted, requiring deep collaboration with a range of professionals, from deal specialists to project managers to brand specialists. In addition to Marketing, this position will support Corporate Events and other complex commercial transactions for DISH Wireless.
Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

• Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of complex commercial contracts
• Counseling business units on commercial legal issues
• Working closely with our business teams to accomplish DISH's goals and strategic objectives
• Improving legal processes and procedures
• Assisting with other responsibilities as needed

Skills, Experience and Requirements
A successful applicant will have the following:

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
• Admitted to practice law in at least one state
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• 2-7 years of experience drafting and negotiating a wide variety of complex commercial agreements with a large national or regional law firm or leading corporation
• Excellent communication, project management, organization and multitasking skills
• A passion for the in-house practice of law, ideally with an emphasis on Copyright, Trademark, Sports and Entertainment law
• Energy, resourcefulness and a demonstrated desire to achieve

Salary Range
Compensation: $115,500.00/Year - $189,750.00/Year
