We are looking for a responsible Contract Administrator to join our team. Your main duties will be to prepare, negotiate and review various company contracts, including customer, vendor, subcontractor and partnerships.

A successful Contract Administrator will demonstrate a strong attention to detail along with the ability to discover potential risks for our company. You should also analyze contracts with an eye toward reducing costs and increasing profits, while ensuring compliance with the law. Our ideal candidate has previous experience managing contracts and is familiar with legal requirements and terms of use.

Ultimately, you should ensure all our contracts conform to legislative requirements and meet our company goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and coordinate contract process with Customer and Vendor procurement teams
  • Negotiate contract terms with internal and external partners
  • Provide support for sales and proposal team as it relates to terms and conditions
  • Review outside party contracts and suggest revisions
  • Review and update existing contracts
  • Explain terms and conditions to appropriate parties
  • Assess and analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms and ensure MSA terms are reflective in statement of work
  • Stay current with legislative changes and coordinate with legal representatives as needed
  • Work under pressure under tight deadlines and, at times, with sensitive information
  • Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met and adhered to
  • Implement new contract policy
  • Maintain organizes systems of physical and digital records
  • Legal file creation and management
  • Liaison with sales, legal, finance and account management to ensure contract terms are understood and covered in various documents
  • Define and refine contracting process

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience relevant to this role
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, legal requirements related to contracts
  • Familiarity with accounting procedures
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work across a variety of seniority levels, including managers, executives, and external partners
  • Experience working on contracting with large utilities

Paralegal or additional qualifications in law are a definite
