Job Duties and Responsibilities
The IT Manager position leads our frontline support staff who handle all technical related incidents/escalations reported by our dynamic employee workforce. While leading this group, the IT Manager is responsible for setting the team vision/direction and development, managing resources and inventory, managing business and partner relationships, and working with internal stakeholders to deliver required solutions for a wide range of technical functions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations best practices, including network infrastructure, Wireless/LAN connections, VPN, proxy/firewalls methodologies, and computer hardware/software.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide business and technical thought leadership with a focus on continuous service delivery optimization and improvement
  • Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships within IT, other internal business partners, outside vendors, and executive teams
  • Manage regulatory audit processes that involves data, system controls/access, and security of all IT assets
  • Conduct regular one on ones with team members and conduct annual performance reviews
  • Manage Project/workload Intake and prioritization
  • Analyze current processes and procedures in order to maintain them or make recommendations to promote effective operations within and between departments
  • Creation of both written and verbal communication that includes, but not limited to: e-mail, procedural documents, processes, reports and presentations to a variety of audiences
  • Lead and/or coordinate large group activities (training, face-to-face or virtual meetings, project intake, etc.) including, but not limited to, executive leadership, IT or business partners, vendors and team meetings
  • Provide and speak to strategic metrics that relate to open items, issue resolution/ analysis, and forecasting - Maintain weekly/monthly key operational performance metrics related to incidents, hardware, cost-savings opportunities, and ad-hoc analysis for escalations
  • May be responsible for on-call duties and response to emergencies on-site as needed


Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years experience supporting infrastructure operations in an enterprise environment and seen as the go-to expert in an area of specialization with an increasingly strategic mindset (2 years of management or supervisory leadership experience is a plus)

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from stakeholders across the organization
  • Highly-developed analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Displays strong initiative for anticipating and meeting business demands, an ability to thrive in a fast-paced and uncertain environment, a high level of intellectual curiosity, and a focus on generating results
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to seek the source of a problem and the capability to ask the questions necessary to identify the root cause
  • Ability to create and maintain process various documentation/procedures for internal team, support team, end users, and executive leadership
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business/technical forums, industry news, and technical procedures
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, meet deadlines and target completion dates


Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $136,625.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
