Technical Writer Intern
CyberGRX is seeking a Technical Writer Intern to join the Product and UX team for a period of 3 months for 20-30hrs per week. This position requires a talented writer who is passionate about enhancing the users’ experience by developing and curating content that meets the needs of specific audiences. In doing so, you will gain exposure to one of the fastest growing industries, while also contributing to and learning from a dynamic team and a fast-paced workplace environment.
First off, what is CyberGRX?
CyberGRX built the market's first third-party cyber risk Exchange, providing enterprises and their third parties with the most cost-effective and scalable approach to third-party cyber risk management available.
Intern Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate and consult with Product/UX team on feature requirements and UI enhancements
- Champion the quality, consistency, and efficacy of content delivered to users
- Promote the brand’s established voice and tone across the product. This will require managing existing content, as well as developing original content, used in multiple platforms: web applications, emails, user resources, etc.
- Participate in user testing and market research and incorporate findings in product decisions and feature development
- Engage in all phases of product development and delivery
- Work closely with all departments to understand user needs and tailor content to specific audiences
Intern Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college in a relevant field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with frequent weekly check-ins being remote.
- Self-starter attitude but is able to work under supervision on specific projects especially being remote.
- Ask questions and don’t be blocked – be proactive
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
