DevOps Engineer Intern (Summer 2021)

Position Overview:
Our summer internship program for 2021 will be virtual as the health and safety of our teams is our #1 priority! Don't worry. Even though this experience may look different because we won't be in person, it won't stop us from having fun and making the world more data-driven.
As an intern on our DevOps team you will:
Collaborate with a team that develops Cloud-based software build processes
Build new internally facing customer tools
Actively participate in code review sessions and mob programming
Ensure scalable, quality code through unit and functional testing

Required Skills:
Students currently enrolled in a degree program in pursuit of Computer Science or related field
Ability to work for 12 consecutive weeks during the Summer 2021
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and should not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
Experience writing code in a modern programming language such as Python, Go, or JavaScript
Experience with operating systems like Unix or Linux
Familiarity with object oriented or functional design patterns
Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously with appropriate mentorship, support, and guidance from your manager
Valued Skills:
Students within 1 year of graduation preferred (e.g., graduating between December 2021 through June 2022)
Prior exposure to remote server usage or web application hosting
Knowledge and use of containerization tools such as Docker

Compensation:
Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Broomfield is $36.77 - $44.62 per hour. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
