We are a small development team in search of a developer/engineer/all-around-smart and motivated person to help us get things done.  We are a close knit group that enjoys learning new technologies and tools in order to build out an awesome SaaS product.  We aren’t concerned with how many senior roles you’ve been in, or every project you’ve done in the past.  We want to know that you can be a part of our team, learn new skills and help us to keep moving forward.

The ideal candidate has a passion for technology and problem solving. As part of the development team, you will write code for the back-end, front-end, RESTFul Java based API’s, UI’s and everything in between.  As an intentionally full-stack oriented team, You’ll also need to wear a lot of hats as we regularly take on new roles and responsibilities as needed to help the Alchemy IoT team.

Requirements:

• A deep technical understanding of Java and AngularJS

• Experience with Java RESTful API’s

• Experience with NoSQL data stores, MongoDB preferred

• Experience with git and version control standard practices

• A general understanding of the different layers of the software stack and how they interact with one another

• The ability to communicate effectively about technical concepts — this includes describing and discussing technical issues with a non-technical audience

• Experience with Agile development methodology

• Desire to and experience working on small development teams

• An honest and motivated team player

• Foosball, golf, and happy hour expertise

Nice to have

• Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous deployment, and DevOps

• Experience with Cloud computing in AWS

• Experience with IoT providers, devices, and tools

• Experience with CXF REST services
