About the Position
The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Two Parts founder and director team to manage day-to-day accounting and optimize the organization's financial health.

Responsibilities
- Process day-to-day accounting transactions.
- Supervise project accounting from start to finish with Two Parts director team, ensuring process is followed and reconciliation deadlines are met.
- Track online revenue via Two Parts ticketing platform, Square, Squarespace, and Shopify.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes to ensure timely and accurate recording.
- Manage payroll and payroll taxes.
- Manage additional processes and accounting policies, including credit card and reimbursable expense reporting.
- Assist with tax strategy and filings, including state, federal, and local requirements.
- Collaborate with external and internal parties to ensure successful audits and compliance.
- Identify and implement process improvements, including the optimization of the monthly close process, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Oversee department and project budget creation.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or relevant field
- 2 years experience in accounting, preferably in a small business and/or startup environment
- Familiarization in Quickbooks and/or other accounting softwares encouraged
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Excel
- Deadline driven
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills
