This position is responsible for processing company payroll. Ensures accurate calculation of
wages, tax withholdings and company deductions while ensuring compliance with applicable
federal and state laws.
You will...

  • Prepare statistical reports on employee pay, commissions and bonuses, vacation and sick leave, disability and workers compensation leave, taxes and withholdings, etc.
  • Generate and respond to inquiries regarding paychecks and withholding.
  • Maintain employee payroll records, ledgers and files.
  • Ensure payroll tasks are performed for on- and off-cycle payroll processing.
  • Perform bi-weekly and monthly payroll accounting responsibilities.
  • Track and deduct all garnishments and other special payroll deductions.
  • Review payroll reporting and ensures accurate filing with appropriate source.
  • Prepare audit reports and supporting documentation and verifies authenticity and completeness of data.
  • Complete post payroll audits and reporting, prepare metrics and track issues.
  • Review and approve bank transactions, including stop payments, direct deposit recalls and check inquiries.
  • Ensure set up of state tax codes for all employees.
  • Perform all duties maintaining compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and other
  • regulations/legislation.
  • Maintain department job aids and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Participate in other projects or duties as assigned.
  • Occasional business travel may be required.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Zero (0) plus years of experience.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Knowledge of the general practices of payroll administration.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accurate data entry skills.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Able to maintain the confidential nature of employee and company information.


Salary: $46,000 - 62,100
