As a Payroll Analyst, you will provide expertise in employment taxes, payroll processing, reporting and completion of ongoing data audits. Most importantly, you ensure our employees have their paychecks processed timely and accurately. You possess a continuous improvement mindset and are eager to join a collaborative team.

What you will do:

• Be responsible for the company’s ongoing multi-state payroll processes for hourly and salaried employees

• Ensure payroll is processed timely and accurately in accordance with Healthgrades payroll policies

• Ensure data integrity in the payroll system and systems that impact payroll

• Communicate with all levels of the organization effectively by responding in a timely manner and providing answers that are compliant with current payroll laws

• Document and maintain payroll procedures and policies

• Prepare relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports on an as needed basis

• Ensure compliance with existing controls including SOX compliance, internal audit and payroll procedures

• Serve as point-of-contact for payroll vendors, auditors and government agencies

• Perform special projects as necessary


What you will bring:



• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll processing and US payroll tax procedures

• 5+ years in a corporate payroll analyst position and/or equitable certification


• Comfortability and previous experience with ADP is required

• Experience with payroll audits and compliance measures

• Strong escalation skills with the ability to own, de-escalate, determine root cause and implement risk avoidance improvements

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 annually*
