Payroll Analyst

As a Payroll Analyst, you will provide expertise in employment taxes, payroll processing, reporting and completion of ongoing data audits. What you will do:
• Be responsible for the company’s ongoing multi-state payroll processes for hourly and salaried employees |
• Ensure payroll is processed timely and accurately in accordance with Healthgrades payroll policies |
• Ensure data integrity in the payroll system and systems that impact payroll |
• Communicate with all levels of the organization effectively by responding in a timely manner and providing answers that are compliant with current payroll laws |
• Document and maintain payroll procedures and policies |
• Prepare relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports on an as needed basis |
• Ensure compliance with existing controls including SOX compliance, internal audit and payroll procedures |
• Serve as point-of-contact for payroll vendors, auditors and government agencies |
• Perform special projects as necessary |
What you will bring:
• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll processing and US payroll tax procedures |
• 5+ years in a corporate payroll analyst position and/or equitable certification • Comfortability and previous experience with ADP is required |
• Experience with payroll audits and compliance measures |
• Strong escalation skills with the ability to own, de-escalate, determine root cause and implement risk avoidance improvements |

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 annually*
- Bonus: up to 5% annually
