    The Manager, IT SOX & Internal Controls will work as a member of the SOX Compliance team, as part of the CAO organization, to design and execute testing of key IT general controls across multiple business units to ensure compliance with control objectives. A strong understanding and background of Sarbanes-Oxley IT control and documentation requirements is required as part of this role.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Internal Audit, Business Unit leaders, IT Risk and Compliance, IT Security, and external auditors on process improvements, documenting standard and procedures, and ensuring deadlines are achieved.
    • Prepares detailed reports and recommendations to management that are professionally written and reflect a strong understanding of company objectives and capabilities, risks, control requirements, and best practices.
    • Monitor and track IT General Control (ITGC) documentation and evidence.
    • Prepare reports/memos that detail the results of work and improvement recommendations.
    • Assist in the implementation of new or enhanced processes; make recommendations for process efficiencies.
    • Has a strong understanding of the evaluation of SOX issues and the level of precision required by compensating controls to mitigate the individual and aggregated risk.
    • Educate and coach internal teams on internal control principles and execution as needed.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, management information systems or equivalent experience.
    • 5 years of direct SOX ITGC experience.
    • Deep understanding of SOX, COSO, COBIT. 
    • Project management skills to work on large complex projects.
    • Problem-solving and decision-making skills to identify and address issues in order to mitigate risks.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with stakeholders quickly

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Knowledge of Active Directory, SAP, OneStream, and Workday.
    • Experience with third-party service providers and +SOC1s.
    • Ability to travel up to 20%.
    • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
