Based in Denver and reporting directly to the VP of Finance, the General Ledger Accountant will join Convercent at a critical point in the company's growth trajectory. The General Ledger Accountant will assist in the entire accounting lifecycle. This position has a great growth opportunity, too!

Key Responsibilities:

• Support monthly internal financial statement preparation through a variety of duties that span the entire trial balance.
• Record monthly journal entries and accurately reconcile accounts.
• Prepare well-documented work papers.
• Reconcile bank activity to the general ledger.
• Import credit card, purchasing card, and payroll data into the accounting system.
• Assist in reviewing invoices for proper expense reporting.
• Generate customer invoices.
• Assist in the collections of accounts receivable.
• Assist with regular accounts payable activities.
• Complete other projects as necessary.

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Degree in accounting or business administration
• Hands-on general ledger accounting experience.
• Software or technology sector experience a plus
• General ledger and Excel experience and skills
• Passion for using software applications to improve job effectiveness.
• Self-directed, resourceful, with an agile mind – you can switch priorities quickly and your memory is remarkable.
• Passionate about making deadlines.
