About You

 

This role focuses on analysis and reporting of our financials to executive leaders and the board of directors. In addition, this individual will help support various aspects of the month end close process, help prepare our monthly financial results, build annual budgets and monthly reforecasts. The ideal candidate will be an autonomous self-starter with strong analytical skills, and familiarity with accounting & key operational metrics. 

You enjoy working on projects autonomously and are internally disciplined to deliver accurate results, on time. You are considered an excel expert and have a curious mindset that seeks answers; and a passion for understanding data, identifying patterns and creating solutions.

What you will do:

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Play a key role in forecasting, annual budgeting, operating expense analysis, headcount analysis and other ad-hoc analysis or special projects
  • Supports process related to potential acquisitions and other strategic investment initiatives
  • Manipulate and analyze raw data to frame questions, analysis and meaningful and unbiased decision points for executives / stakeholders to make informed, efficient decisions
  • Act as liaison for relevant critical initiatives, and help develop and track implementation plans to ensure the right level of focus and field
  • Identify opportunities to improve net income through top line revenue increases or cost savings
  • Monthly department reviews with the budget leads to improve accuracy of forecast and understand variances
  • Supports headcount budgeting and compensation planning process
  • Provide strategic support to Executive team and business units
  • Additional ad hoc reporting, as required to support financial decision making

 

What will you bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
  • 2+ years of hands-on FP&A or investment banking experience 
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, reporting, and budgeting analysis
  • Familiarity with accounting & key operational metrics
  • Proven experience analyzing data and using findings to influence decision making
  • Ability to extract insight from data and translate into actionable plans
  • Advanced Excel skills - demonstrated experience with pivot tables, complex formulas, macros, and keyboard shortcuts
  • Intellectual curiosity and creativity
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently prioritize
  • Detail oriented self-starter with strong communication skills

Salary range: $70,000-$80,000/year
