Join the Two Parts Team and to help us scale the business. The Finance & Accounting Manager will work closely with ownership and directors to manage day-to-day accounting, strategize how to grow business, and optimize financial health across the board. In addition to bringing strong financial strategy, tools, guidance, and management to the mix, the Finance & Accounting Manager will also be an adviser when it comes to new business opportunities and partnerships.

Full-Time Position

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual company proforma, track progress, and provide monthly analysis
  • Manage monthly financial close process, including account reconciliations, cash flows, and preparation of monthly reporting
  • Process day-to-day revenue and expense categorization
  • Optimize the monthly close process and establishing ideal timeline
  • Oversee department and project budget creation
  • Supervise project P&Ls from start to finish with Two Parts director team, ensuring process is followed and reconciliation deadlines are met
  • Manage online revenue streams via Two Parts ticketing platform, Square, Squarespace, and Shopify
  • Oversee Accounts Payable to ensure all payments are timely, accurate, and coded correctly
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable to ensure all incoming funds are handled securely and deposited in a timely manner to the correct accounts
  • Manage payroll and payroll taxes
  • Manage credit card and reimbursable expense reporting software
  • Maintain company expense policy
  • Assist with tax strategy and filings, including state, federal, and local requirements
  • Collaborate with external and internal parties to ensure successful audits and compliance
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Advise on investment opportunities
  • Aid in drafting business plans and proposals

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or relevant field
  • Active CPA highly encouraged
  • 4 years experience in accounting, preferably in a small business and/or startup environment
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Excel
  • Familiarization in Quickbooks and/or other accounting softwares
  • Deadline driven
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills
