Company:

Prologis

Do you want to play a role in global commerce?

The Financial Analyst will be part of the Global Operations group which works closely with teams in Prologis’ US, European, and Asian portfolios.  This position will have direct accountability and ownership over reporting processes/calendars and analytics for quarterly reporting. This position will be highly focused on streamlining and improving our processes while enhancing the surrounding capabilities. The ability to be organized and motivated, with advanced modeling skills in a fast-paced environment is a must.

Additionally, this position will be heavily involved in the property operations forecasting process. This will require becoming an expert on our operating metrics, using modeling capabilities and advanced analytics to predict future results, and working with senior leadership to set forward looking expectations for the business. Expect a wide variety of ad hoc assignments to support these capabilities and frequent senior leadership communication.

Here's how to do that:

  • Drive and own reporting functions such as, and not limited to, preparation of business plan materials, quarterly board books and other recurring presentations
  • Manage and own the global forecasting and reporting calendar and hold stakeholders accountable for deadlines
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis for departments, geographies and senior management as needed to review and improve business and financial performance
  • Provide direction and templates to Regional teams for their respective forecasting and reporting needs
  • Review Regional reports, the property operations forecast, and Corporate FP&A outputs for accuracy
  • Be a resource for Regional teams in completing their property operations forecast and provide templates where necessary
  • Suggest and implement scaleable process improvements  that can be leveraged across the globe
  • Build and maintain templates, analytical models, and historical/forecasted tools which can be utilized at all levels of the organization
  • Other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Tell us if you're ready.

  • Minimum 2 years related work or related graduate course work experience.  Budgeting and forecast experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s/graduate degree from four-year college or university
  • Excellent analytical and written communication skills, including the ability to present and engage with senior management
  • Top tier Excel skills; Tableau or Power BI experience a plus
  • Mastery of thinking outside the normal range of analytical steps to solve problems or answer questions; advanced modeling skills a plus
  • Self-starter – ability to creatively tackle new situations and analyses without heavy direction
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Execute responsibilities with a sense of urgency and follow-through
  • Demonstrated abilities to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy
  • Show tact, discretion, confidentiality and good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters and documentation
