As a key leader in the FP&A team, you will partner with senior executives to drive planning, analysis, and overall decision support. This role requires a candidate who is highly analytical with the ability to synthesize data and make sound business recommendations to the executive staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the CXOs for R&D and G&A to advise on financial and strategic matters necessary to accomplish their business objectives.
  • Own reporting and metrics associated with the R&D and G&A groups. This includes end-to-end responsibility for monthly close, accruals, budgeting, long range planning and forecasting, results variance analysis, and headcount tracking.
  • Track business performance by building dashboards, analyzing KPIs, digging into plan variances and business trends to deliver impactful and actionable insights.
  • Work closely with other cross-functional teams to collaborate on essential projects and to improve processes as the company involves.
  • Take charge of ad hoc projects and analyses, coordinating as needed with internal and external stakeholders, such as Vista Equity board members and associates.
  • Manage an elite team of financial analysis and planning professionals to help achieve the overall team's objectives.

 

Required Skills / Experience:

  • BA/BS degree Finance/Accounting, Engineering, or Business. MBA preferred.
  • 10 or more years of experience in finance, management consulting, or similar environment. Prior experience in FP&A, software, and managing direct reports preferred.
  • Expert proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with BI tools, Salesforce.com, and internal financial applications (e.g. Adaptive) a plus.
  • Proven track record of creating robust models and analyses that translates into business decisions.
  • Proactive self-starter with intellectual curiosity and a bias towards action
  • Deep understanding of what drives growth and value, and insight into performance measurement and reporting techniques
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Solid interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and to prioritize in a fast paced, very high-growth environment.

Our new office is in the Denver City Center near plenty of shops and restaurants. We also have amazing views of the Rocky Mountains from our windows.
