Role Purpose
A leadership role on the Bluprint Finance team, reporting to the VP of Finance & Analytics. This role plays an integral part in supporting the executive leadership team.
Responsibilities

• Ensure strong controllership across the company and in coordination with NBCU Cable Entertainment HQ
• Responsible for the coordination and or preparation of quarterly close and reporting schedules
• Lead quarterly balance sheet reviews and account reconciliation process, including working capital analysis on key accounts
• Key point of contact between the Bluprint finance team and Cable Entertainment HQ and corporate accounting
• Proactively communicate and educate teams on accounting policies to ensure consistency across the portfolio and lend perspective on accounting treatment related to new deals
• Monitor and track Bluprint’s intercompany activity within NBCU
• Provide oversight and direction to Accounts Payable team
• Drive process efficiencies in reporting through expertise on accounting systems (SAP/other interfaces) and account hierarchy
• Ensure proper business controls, including general ledger accounting activities and multiple platform interfaces

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• CPA required
• 6+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting

• Experience in programming and/or ecommerce businesses
• 3+ years of Big Four public accounting experience
• Strong computer and analytical skills including use of Excel (e.g., able to manipulate formulas in spreadsheets and create pivot tables)
• Strong time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
