Job Position: Accounts Receivable Collections Team Member

We are searching for an Accounts Receivable Collections Team Member, who is a team player, willing to be hands-on, able to manage a wide variety of tasks on a daily basis, and able to consistently meet month-end close deadlines. Position Responsibilities:

• Generate AR agings and contact customers for collection of past due amounts via email or telephone.
• Work with sales representatives and customers to make corrections to invoices, credit accounts, revise sales tax or VAT and resubmit invoices to customers as needed.
• Communicate weekly status of collection efforts to senior finance employees.
• Coordinate standard customer inquiries concerning invoice issues or questions via email or telephone.
• Perform certain month end close duties related to AR.
• Special projects or other duties as assigned or requested.

Business and Technical Competencies:

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail skills required.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains), or other accounting systems and exporting reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including problem identification, analysis, action planning, and execution.
• Strong experience with general ledger account reconciliations as well as reviewing sub-ledger detail.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Experience and Education:

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience with 1 year in a related position or field.
