Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of expenses
• Answers internal and external customer questions about payments
• Ensure that payables and paid within company and payment terms guidelines
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
• Prepare month end and quarterly reconciliations, analysis’ and journal entries
• Track and assist in regulatory compliance, including US GAAP and IFRS regulations
• Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
  * Third-party vendor to ensure accuracy and timeliness of 1099/1042s reporting
• Maintains Accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls and policies
• Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations
• Maintains customer and management confidence by keeping financial information confidential
• Assist in internal and external audit process
• Ad hoc analysis and project work as directed by the management
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing additional tasks

Required Experience:

• Minimum 3 -5 years of accounts payable experience
• Minimum 2 years of AP Lead experience
• Bachelor’s Degree, Accounting/Business degree are all a plus
• Demonstrable basic understanding of, and ability to apply US GAAP
• Strong analytical skills and a strong sense or curiosity
• Advanced Excel skills
• Accounting systems: NetSuite is a plus
