Description

Envysion, a leading provider of video-based SaaS technology solutions for retailers, fast casual restaurants and wireless dealers, is seeking an Accounting Manager.  The Accounting Manager ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating and reconciling transactions and accounts.  This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Accounting and is part of a team that creates and implements policies and procedures to drive accuracy and efficiency.  The Accounting Manager will be responsible for closing the accounting records monthly, helping to manage the accounting team, and supporting the annual audit by working closely with the external auditors.

Core Functions 

• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing information
• Reconcile accounts by verifying, posting, and reconciling transactions; timely resolution of discrepancies
• Prepare and record fixed assets and complete all depreciation and disposal entries
• Prepare and reconcile recurring ACH and CC payment batches
• Review and post cash receipt batches, AP invoice and payment batches, journal entries created by other team members
• Manage accounts payable, billing, and cash application process
  • Manage three team members (Billing, AP and Cash Application)
• Analyze trends and discrepancies; recommend corrective processes and enhanced internal controls
• Work closely with other departments to provide accurate meaningful reporting including resolution of reporting variances
• Assist in preparing the annual budget
• Support annual audit and filing of tax returns

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA strongly preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ progressive and relevant experience in fast paced high growth company
• Experience with accounting software systems - Sage, Salesforce, and Zuora (preferred)
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills including Lookup functions, pivot tables, and other advance formulas
