Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated Accounting Manager to join our Indirect Tax team. This person will be the primary point of contact for sales/use tax reconciliations, payments, and assist in general ledger account analysis which have high visibility to senior management and executives. This is an exciting opportunity to work with complex accounting systems, tax issues, and payments.
- Responsible for all payment accounts related to Sales Tax reconciliations, indirect payment inquiries, and document requests
- Responsible for all Month End closing journal entries, with supporting documentation;
- Gather and generate data and to support tax returns filing for compliance team;
- Control Sales Tax returns payments (EFTs and Debits);
- Maintenance of database for retailer tax exemptions/resale certificates;
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously and report status in an efficient and effective manner;
- Interact and collaborate effectively with other members of the Tax Department, operating divisions, corporate accounting, etc.
- Special projects as assigned.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
- Four-year Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field from accredited university
- Ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience of accounting experience (any tax experience is a plus), as well as an additional 2+ years' experience in supervision/management position.
- Ability to analyze large amounts of data is a must, along with excellent MS Excel and written and verbal communication skills
Salary Range
Compensation: $800,000.00/Year - $120,000.00/Year
