Job Description
A Test Engineer III will define, perform, analyze and interpret test for products and product components.
Responsibilities
- Design complex test set-ups
- Writing test process documentation
- Fixture Design and Procurement
- Results / Data Interpretation utilizing data acquisition systems and software.
- Environmental Testing including thermal cycling and vacuum requirements.
- Dynamic Testing
- Random & Sine Vibration
- Classical & SRS Shock
- Develops and applies testing procedures.
- Devises and maintains quality control and reliability standards.
- Provides technical support to other engineering departments.
- Ensures testing procedures meet industry standards.
- Ensures accurate record of measurement data.
- Prepare and conduct Test Readiness Reviews both internally and with various customers.
- Performs work under general supervision.
- Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
- May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
Requirements
- US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident)
- BS/MS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Fluent in computer programming, Python, LabVIEW, or MatLAB
- ISO 9000 compliance or previous Aerospace experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Compensation and Benefits
- All final pay rates will be determined by the candidates specific education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
- Pay Range: $70,000 - $101,600 per year
