Position Description

CONGA is looking for a Sr. System Engineer to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks.

Candidate should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly and should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.

Sr. System Administrator’s goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently and gets periodic upgrades without interruptions.

Responsibility

  • Examine systems, identify inefficiencies and unmet needs, troubleshoot issues, develop solutions to problems that arise and brainstorm possible upgrades
  • Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
  • Manage cloud servers, firewalls, network switches, and cloud based tools
  • Manage UCaaS and CCaaS services
  • Manage Jamf Apple Endpoints management
  • Manage email security and server administration and monitoring
  • Maintaining Virtual machines across multiple platforms hosted on cloud
  • Basic A/V support for conference rooms/meeting setups
  • Ensuring the operational health of the Office 365 and SharePoint online environment including security, availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models
  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
  • Interact and work with wide range of people like management, vendors, clients, and IT staff
  • Manage incidents via the IT Ticketing system
  • Analyze current enterprise infrastructure and making recommendations for capacity planning, performance tuning and design issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience as a System Engineer, Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role in a client technology focused Microsoft Windows enterprise network
  • Must work well in a distributed global team environment; participate in infrastructure support for escalated events
  • Excellent hands-on IT technical knowledge in Microsoft Office 365
  • Working knowledge of SSO systems such as Okta, Ping, or Idaptive
  • General knowledge of networking
  • Experience with Win/MacOS and enterprise management tools (Jamf,nCentral)
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure
  • Experience with External and Internal DNS management (AD DNS, Cloudflare, Route 53)
  • Experience with Certificates
  • Experience with VMware ESX
  • Experience in enterprise email security (Mimecast, ProofPoint, etc)
  • Working knowledge of enterprise level Wireless networks (Meraki, Mist, or Aruba)
  • Knowledge of system security
  • Experience with Audio Visual equipment and setup
  • Work closely with key vendors to support infrastructure, address escalated issues, and keep current with technology portfolio
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues

The pay range for this position in Colorado is minimum $93,789.00 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
