What does an Sr Solutions Engineer do at Cyber GRX?

The Sr. Solution Engineer’s primary function is to provide support to Sales Executives from the beginning to end of the sales cycle. The Sr. Solution Engineer uses practical discovery techniques to understand prospect business challenges in order to design and illustrate a solution using both the CyberGRX Platform and its support organizations. The Sr. Solution Engineer must display technical proficiency with the solution and domain expertise as it relates to the addressable market. The Sr. Solution Engineer is also expected to possess and maintain up-to-date knowledge of current state and trends within the cybersecurity space.

 

What skills you bring to the table:

  • Professional written and oral communication skills
  • Minimum of 5 years consulting or pre-sales experience in security, risk management or other related industry
  • Industry experience in one or more of the following areas: Financial Services, Energy, Healthcare, or Retail
  • Understanding of various regulatory and compliance standards and frameworks including, but not limited to: NIST 800-53, PCI, COBIT, ISO 27002, SANS Top 20, HIPAA, or FFIEC
  • Experience prioritizing assignments and maximizing efficiencies in order to meet strict deliverable deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well unsupervised
  • Ability to communicate key metrics, issues, and risks to senior CyberGRX leadership
  • Ability to work with a range of personalities from extremely technical staff members to non-technical business leaders
  • Recent experience conducting third-party information security audit & assessments (Preferred)
  • Strong understanding of emerging cyber security regulations within and across different industries (Preferred)
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in business, information technology or relevant discipline
