NextHealth Technologies is currently seeking a Sr. QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in API and backend testing to join the company’s engineering team. The position provides an opportunity to engage in cutting-edge healthcare research on a cross functional agile team and contribute to developing products that have an impact on the healthcare industry with patient care.
This position will be embedded on a development team and will drive the automation efforts for testing data analytics algorithms and API services. You will be working with a small, but good guild of automation testers. This position would be a good fit if you are looking to work with a cutting-edge tech stack and want to apply your test automation skills in an advanced healthcare analytics platform.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Statistics or a related technical field required. Master’s degree a plus.
- 3+ years of full-time automation testing experience required.
- Solid Experience with writing test automation code in Python and Pytest required.
- Rest/JSON API test automation required.
- Familiarity managing CI pipelines with Microsoft Azure DevOps tools a strong plus.
- Testing statistical algorithms and big data analytics a plus.
- Experience with frontend browser-based test automation using JavaScript and/or TypeScript a plus. Cypress experience also a plus.
- Experience creating test strategies, test plans, re-usable test scenarios and championing automation efforts.
- Good grasp of test automation best practices with knowledge in git, following coding standards, and maintaining different test branches across environments.

- This role is a full-time, exempt position
- Starting salary range is $100,000-$130,000
