BillGO is innovating past what exists today and has developed a payments engine that offers real-time payments, security and engagement to our customers. BillGO is looking for a motivated individual with a passion for Software Engineer/Team Lead to join our team. The Software Engineer/Team Lead is a unique position that would have a broad technical background.  Key factors for this position are not only technical aptitude, but also being a problem solver, continuous learner, and great collaborator. The ideal candidate will have experienced working in a fast-paced environment.  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Related Field OR 5 years of professional software development experience on a team
• 2+ years of software development experience using a wide variety of current programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C#)
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Familiarity with C# and .NET applications
• Experience with Open Source tools
• Willingness to work in a highly collaborative environment where the belief is that great ideas can come from anywhere. Candidates must be able to embrace this culture, foster idea generation, and work to cultivate the best ideas into an executable plan
• Proactively lead and manage a junior development team of 10–20, including work planning and delegation, process improvement, career mentoring, technical and leadership guidance, code review, hiring, training, and performance management
• Define, implement, measure, and improve processes and technology critical to our integration infrastructure and business goals Develop, track, and drive team KPIs
• Interact with other departments and internal users as part of development of the BillGO systems
• Work with other managers and developers to facilitate knowledge transfer, conduct code reviews, participate in pair programming; participate in technical design reviews and code reviews
• Participate in productionization conversations around code, new integrations systems, monitoring, alerting, maturity, scalability 
• Willingness to work in a highly collaborative environment where the belief is that great ideas can come from anywhere
• Candidates must be able to foster idea generation, and work to cultivate the best ideas into an actionable plan

 Recommended but not required:

• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud
• Experience with scaling a hypergrowth company
