Full Lifecycle Software Development

Looking for a Software Engineer that can join our project team to develop application software.  They must be able to contribute to the team as follows:

• Lead the requirements analysis and design for software applications or sub-components.
• Code or maintain software applications or sub-components from specifications.
• Follow established software development process.
• Create appropriate process artifacts including: requirements documentation, design documentation, and test plans.
• Test applications as identified in the development methodology, and create necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

• Expert knowledge of OO development theory and associated methodologies
• BS in Computer Science or related discipline and 2-7 years of experience or an MS in Computer Science or related discipline and 1-5 years of experience, or demonstrates knowledge or requirements for the position
• Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices
• C++ or Java programming
• Excellent Math and Physics skills
• Ability to take direction from senior team members and give direction and mentorship to junior team members
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Above average oral and written communication skills to include active listening
