As a Software Engineer on our Marketing Campaign Automation team, you will utilize Golang and AWS services to create an intuitive product that allows our customers to build, manage, and send their email workflows.  You’ll work with a passionate, versatile, and collaborative team, tackling tough problems as we continue to push our technology forward. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to influence and implement architectural solutions that will enable us to achieve our goal of being the world’s most trusted communication platform.

Denver is our global headquarters and home to Marketing Campaigns, our second generation product - which your efforts will directly impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Live by and champion our cultural values of Happy, Hungry, Honest, and Humble
  • Focus on designing and implementing systems for scalability, testability, supportability and maintainability
  • Help resolve technical issues/blockers as a developer on the team
  • Collaborate with other team members, including our Architecture and Operations, to help influence, own, and improve our current product offering
  • Perform thorough and thoughtful code reviews to help maintain high standard of  code quality
  • Be creative, take your own initiative and solve some of the our most challenging problems

Our stack includes: includes Golang, Lambda, Kinesis, RDS, DynamoDB, and Docker

About You:

  • 6+ plus years of experience in your craft with demonstrated skill progression
  • Ideally you have a Bachelor’s in Computer Science
  • Experience with distributed architectures and scaling systems
  • Expert level in Go, Python, and/or Java
  • A tenacious learner, curious and constantly pushing the boundary of what is possible
  • An enthusiastic willingness to responsibly manage and operate our systems
  • A highly effective collaborator, you work with your team towards common goals
  • Passionate about taking complete ownership of situations you find yourself in
  • Learn from your failures, and strive to do better.
