Who is Knowledge Center?
Knowledge Center (http://knowledge-center.com/) helps first responders during emergency situations to save lives and manage property damage. Knowledge Center develops systems and services that include incident planning, response and training for government and private entities. This software includes functions that are used in an emergency operations center (EOC). The systems create a planning model for resources and action plans followed by active incident management and communications.
Knowledge Center serves several U.S. States, Counties and FEMA regions as well as some of the largest private and non-profit hospitals in the United States.
Knowledge Center – Software Developer
Knowledge Center is looking for a full-time software developer to join our team in Longmont, CO. The ideal candidate will meet most of the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working with C#, .Net Core, Javascript, JQuery Library, HTML 5, CSS and Kendo/Telerik Controls (preferred).
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong experience developing REST APIs.
- Experience working in Visual Studio, Azure Cloud Services and Xamarin (preferred).
- Ability to write unit tests.
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programing (OOP) best practices (SOLID, DRY, etc. principles).
- Knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD) (preferred).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum Processes
- Understanding of the software development life cycle
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
The candidate should be comfortable working in a small team environment while still applying appropriate processes to achieve product quality and long-term company success.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: $80,000 to $95,000/year
