Gingr is modern software for modern pet care.

Our platform enables consumers to make reservations online for their pets with pet boarding facilities and doggy daycares through our online solution. Gingr is a one-stop shop for all pet care facilities by providing other integrated offerings such as credit card processing, email and social media integration, retail offerings and more to deliver businesses the tools they require to optimize their companies.

Who we're hiring:
This is a direct hire employee. Applicants must be eligible to work in the USA. Principals only. Remote applicants will be required to travel to headquarters several times a year and must have reliable internet.

Requirements:

We are growing rapidly and with customers on over four continents, we need additional developers to support our continued growth. You would be responsible for all aspects of software development, including developing new features, maintaining the existing code as well as testing code. The front end uses Bootstrap and ReactJS (goal is to migrate all views to React). The back end is built with the CodeIgniter framework (PHP) using a MariaDB database.

The ideal candidate would have a get-it-done attitude - that's how we approach work every day.

• Experience in planning and delivering software platforms.

• Deep expertise and on-the-job experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as PHP, ReactJS, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API’s.

• Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc ..) is needed to be successful in this position.

• Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.

• Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems.

• Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.

• The position requires constant communication with colleagues.
