Senior UI Software Engineer
Sr. UI Software Engineer
Like solving BIG problems? Want to have BIG fun? Then JumpCloud wants you. We’re looking for a senior software engineer to be the next member of our awesome engineering team. You would be an integral member of the development team helping to design and build the next generation of server management and directory software... from the cloud.
At JumpCloud we’re solving complex problems in the cloud using great technologies like MongoDB, GoLang, Vagrant, Docker, Saltstack, ELK Stack, Redis, etc. This is JumpCloud’s disruptive new technology called Directory-as-a-Service® and is reinventing a space monopolized by Microsoft.
If you enjoy solving challenging technical problems using the latest technologies in a great team, then this is the job for you. If you enjoy knowing that your work is highly visible and mission critical, even better. We’re open minded and we believe that good engineering is not technology specific.
Job responsibilities:
Willingness to learn and embrace new technologies, languages, and frameworks.
7+ years of programming experience in JavaScript.
In depth experience with Backbone and a good understanding of abstraction with Backbone views.
A strong front end foundation: HTML, CSS, NPM, Grunt, Jade, and Node.
You write controls vs bolting on a UI library that looks neat.
Bonus points: you are picky about CSS
Knowledge of LDAP, SAML, RADIUS, and/or AD a big plus
Experience in developing SaaS applications in the cloud, AWS/GCE is a plus
Strong team player that want to win together. We are both Agile and agile, and we’re a team that’s constantly working together
Passion for product and customer, not just for code.
