We seek a talented and creative Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our award-winning team! The product development organization is going to grow substantially over the coming months; we have some exciting internal initiatives underway in which we need additional technical quality expertise to join the team.

A successful candidate has networking experience in a software product development Quality Assurance environment. Expertise in manual testing critical enterprise software and achieving high quality results.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Innovate and improve upon test methodologies, efficiencies and incorporate automation
  • Define and implement automated Regression and New Feature tests
  • Ensure regression suites sufficiently cover product features and areas of risk
  • Work within our Agile team structure to test development deliverables
  • Utilize scripting / programming knowledge to create test tools
  • Troubleshoot complex problems to the point of pinpointing the resolution
  • Be an advocate for best software development practices


Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years of related experience in Software Quality Assurance
  • Proficient in coding with Python or C++
  • Experience testing mobile applications and devices
  • Experience with video and multimedia streaming
  • Must possess strong technical troubleshooting skills- able to parse log data and analyze
  • Experience with defect and test tracking tools (i.e. Bugzilla, JIRA, Rally)

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in Agile, Scrum or Kanban environments
  • Experience with network concepts and hardware
  • Skills using Wireshark
  • Troubleshoot difficult escalated Support cases
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical QA experience
